The CIA, Amazon, Bezos and the Washington Post: An Exchange with Executive Editor Martin Baron

Why not provide a sentence in the Post’s substantive coverage of CIA activities, to the effect that “The Post’s owner Jeff Bezos is the largest stakeholder in Amazon, which has a $600 million contract with the CIA”?

The Washington Post’s coverage of the CIA should include full disclosure that the sole owner of the Post is also the main owner of Amazon -- and Amazon is now gaining huge profits directly from the CIA."

Stewart blasted Fox’ Billy O’Reilly and his “old timey Americana restoration hour,” for saying pot-smoking is “literally Russian roulette.”

“I think the only difference between a bong hit and pointing a loaded gun at your own skull is that the gun can kill you instantly, and must never be criminalized or restricted in any way ever,” Stewart remarked.

His first error from NIDA is that is causes addiction in one of six teenagers. However, about nine percent of teenagers smoke. Nine percent of those become dependent. That is only one percent total.

Tribunal Delivers Sri Lanka`s Guilty Verdict

Britain and the US were found to be guilty of complicity in the crime of genocide over providing weapons, and by knowingly aiding or abetting a perpetrator of a genocide in the planning or enabling of such acts.

(BREMEN, Aust. Canberra Times) - Tamil refugees stranded in North Pagai, Indonesia. A tribunal of 11 eminent judges has unanimously found the Sri Lankan government guilty of the crime of genocide against ethnic Tamil people. Sitting in Bremen, from December 7 to 10, the Second Session of the Peoples' Tribunal on Sri Lanka found that the crime of genocide has been and is being committed against the Eelam Tamils as a national group.

I was invited to appear before the tribunal as an expert witness on the treatment of Tamils from Sri Lanka by the Australian government.
