Evergreen Aviation Confirms Financial Troubles

Evergreen International Aviation, Inc. CEO Del Smith confirms in a press release, that Evergreen's business, "has been adversely impacted over the past several years by decreased demand in military spending and weakness in global economic markets."

(MCMINNVILLE) - Evergreen Aviation Oregon's longtime aviation pioneer, Delford M. Smith, confirms rumors that his facility, Evergreen International Aviation, Inc., headquartered in McMinnville, is financially impacted by a rollback in federal defense spending.

With reported ties to groups like the Central Intelligence Agency, Smith built a fortune supplying civilian aircraft and crews for military roles in what many describe as the clandestine air force, "Air America."

Bagwell Co-Publishes Book on Newspaper Industry

(UPDATE) Police Seek Suspect in McMinnville Shooting

From statements given to investigators it appears as though the suspect knew the victim and this is not a random act.

(MCMINNVILLE, Ore.) - Shooting McMinnville Police say a man was shot last night at the Circle K convenience store located at 840 NE 3rd Street.

Officers responded to the scene at 6:38 p.m. and located a Hispanic man, identified as 36-year old Javier Vage Jr. of Salem, who had been shot in the hand and leg.
