OLCC Approves Medical Bump-Up Canopy for Marijuana Producers

Establishes Sharing Framework between Producers and Patients

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - cannabis The Oregon Liquor Control Commission today approved rules allowing growers licensed in Oregon’s Recreational Marijuana Program to grow marijuana specifically for Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP) cardholders.

Under this “medical bump-up” arrangement recreational producers will be allowed to grow additional canopy above what is allowed in their OLCC license.

Proposed Permanent Rules for the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program

Changes to OMMP are coming again. Review and comment.

(SALEM, Ore.) - oregon capitol The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division is proposing to permanently adopt and amend rules in chapter 333, divisions 7 and 64 related to marijuana labeling, and marijuana laboratory sampling and testing; and permanently adopt, amend and repeal rules in chapter 333, division 8 pertaining to medical marijuana growers, processors, dispensaries and patient cards.

In order to protect public health and safety, these rules propose to adopt additional requirements for ordered tests, amend certain standards for the sampling and testing of marijuana items.

Hundreds of Thousands of Private Medical Records at Stake in Oregon Courts

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Paul Stanford Over 250,000 private medical records, submitted by patients seeking medical cannabis recommendations in Oregon, Washington, California, Michigan and Hawaii have been forcibly removed by a for-profit Canadian company through a hostile takeover of the Empower Clinics, formerly known as the THCF Clinics.

THCF Clinics were founded by longtime cannabis and industrial hemp activist Paul Stanford in 2001. Through an incomplete deal with Canadian venture capitalists affiliated with the oil and mining industries, Stanford’s businesses have been forcibly taken over.

(LINCOLN COUNTY, Ore.) - suspects Yesterday, at approximately 10:30 am, James Bryan and Carrie Hurley entered the Waldport Dispensary located at 250 SW Highway 101 in Waldport, Oregon.

During their time inside the business, they stole approximately $300.00 in various products. Through tips from the community, as well as surveillance footage, the two have been developed as suspects.
