The Oregon State Medical Examiner determined that this death was a homicide.

The Oregon Senate today passed HB 3025 by a vote of 21 to 8. The legislation will prohibit employers from including questions about applicants’ criminal history on job applications. HB 3025 now heads to the House for a concurrent vote and then to Governor Kate Brown for her signature.
