NBC News Chairman Andy Lack released a statement Wednesday morning about the firing of NBC's anchor Matt Lauer.

(N.Y., N.Y.) - Matt Lauer fired On Monday night, we received a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace by Matt Lauer. It represented, after serious review, a clear violation of our company's standards.

As a result, we've decided to terminate his employment.

Journalists Protest Against Israel`s Closure of Media Outlets

The Israeli military raided offices of three major media companies and ordered eight offices and branches shut down for six months.

(NABLUS /WAFA) - Nasser Abu Baker Dozens of journalists gathered at the center of Nablus city, in the northern West Bank, on Tuesday to protest Israel’s crackdown on the Palestinian media and closure of a number of media offices under the pretext of broadcasting inciting material.

The Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate asked the International Federation of Journalists to send a fact-finding commission to investigate Israel’s violations against Palestinian journalists and the media.

Sanilac County Circuit Judge Gregory Ross in Michigan has given parental rights to a man that raped a 12-year old girl over a matter of days while he held her and her young friend against their will, threatening their lives.

For many of the families and loved ones of the victims, as is certainly the case with this observer, it seems as though the Sabra-Shatila Massacre was committed at most four or five years ago. So vivid still in our memories are the horror images of that orgy of slaughter.
