“One of the main arguments for regime change in Baghdad was to put an end to Iraqi support for Palestinian militants..." - Avi Shlaim

(ROANOKE, In.) - Poor Afghan people in the Kunar Province A friend, Phil Collier, an avid student of and sometime writer on Middle East affairs (and a National Master in chess), recently informed me that Avi Shlaim's recent book, Israel and Palestine: Reappraisals, Revisions, Refutations, had one chapter, “Palestine and Iraq,” that presents a thesis almost identical to what I have written in The Transparent Cabal.

The US National Image and its Contradictions

Lawrence Davidson analyzes the reasons behind the widening gulf between the US national self-image as “the world’s prime purveyor of good government, stability and progress” and the reality of imperial power, hypocrisy and double standards.

Pilger`s `The War You Don`t See` is a Dose of Mind Numbing Reality

Pilger is right, there is no just excuse for the types of wars the west is waging.

(SALEM, Ore.) - John Pilger Coming to understand my own role in promoting the US wars overseas as a former embedded reporter, John Pilger's: The War You Don't See, shoved me right off of the cliff of ignorance, into a painful valley of understanding.

I used to think it was different for me because the only thing I've shot in a war was my television camera. I increasingly understand that I was part of the problem.
