Netanyahu looked old, tired, and angry as he delivered his “speech” in front of the Knesset. He had nothing new to say so he regurgitated the old myths about how Palestinians better recognize Israel as a Jewish state in order to have peace on the occupier’s terms.

They're simply too hot, the flames were searing... and the burning excitement means one thing; All-Girls Roller Derby is here to stay.
(SALEM, Ore.) -
There was a certain kind of feeling present Saturday at the State Fairground Pavilion that's a little hard to describe.
Electricity was in the air and the place had a magical sense as Salem residents lined up for a night of roller skates and fishnet stockings, to watch ladies with names like "Areola 51" and "Like a Virgin" compete in a sport that used to be very popular in Oregon.

Whoever said that intellectuals are keeping silent?
Who claimed that academia is ensconced in an ivory tower? And who dared to think that Israel lacks a moral voice? One day, when historians take the time to examine Israel's brutal offensive in Gaza, otherwise known as "Cast Lead," they will settle a score with political leaders and officers who were responsible for committing war crimes.
A very candid look at what takes place on a regular basis on the West Bank, plus photos from the bombing of Haifa and the Israeli reprise against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
(JERUSALEM) -
In part one of this special two-part series, Dexter Phoenix describes starting out in the early morning in Jerusalem, and traveling with a group of Palestinian demonstrators to the West Bank where they go every week to demonstrate, and typically, clash with Israeli soldiers. We join the story after Dexter has arrived at the point where protesters draw the attention of the IDF.
We quickly walked back towards the road where all the action was going to be, the people had already started marching towards that main area. Every kind of person was there; kids of all ages, old ladies, men (but oddly enough no Palestine woman?!) and of course the overly excited photographers and video people that were running around like headless chickens buzzing from there adrenaline rushes of finally getting involved in what they have a huge passion for... serious worldwide news.
Part one in a memorable account and photo essay of a day on the West Bank.
(JERUSALEM) -
It was an extremely hot day when we all grouped up from a Hostel in Jerusalem. It was not easy getting up early in the morning after a rather heavy night of enjoying the night life in this city... which seemed to go on forever. The place was bustling with young college type people who somehow managed to find enough money on their student loans to pay for Israel's extremely expensive and heavily taxed drinks, especially the liqueur.
We woke up around about 7:30 a.m. due to the hostel only having two showers, and we were told we had to get to another hostel "dead on" at 9:00 a.m.
