Man Dies in Crash on Interstate 84 East of North Powder

Investigators say the driver lost control and spun around before rolling several times.

(NORTH POWDER, Ore.) - Fatal crash near North Powder, Oregon, 4-21-08 Police say an Idaho man died Monday morning after losing control of his pickup in icy, foggy conditions on Interstate 84 about one mile east of North Powder.

Around 6:00 AM this morning, a 1981 Toyota pickup driven by 38-year old James Hardin Slawson of Kuna, Idaho, was westbound on Interstate 84 near milepost 287.

Teen in Oregon Jail Charged With Father`s Murder in Idaho

The suspect is currently being held in the Lane County Juvenile Detention Facility.

(EUGENE, Ore. ) - jail hands Boise Police have served an arrest warrant on a 17-year-old currently in custody in Oregon for the murder of his father.

Boise Police detectives believe Derek W. Lewis killed his father at the father's Northwest Boise home likely sometime Saturday evening. Boise Police were called to a home on the 7900 block of Prince St., Monday, March 10th for a man who was found deceased by a co-worker.

Oregon Home Invasion Robbery Suspects Arrested in Boise and Ontario

Investigators say two other suspects related to this investigation were arrested in November.

(ONTARIO, Ore.) - Police say two suspects wanted in connection with a November 2007 home invasion robbery of an Ontario-area residence were arrested Thursday in Boise and Ontario. Investigators say they are seeking any additional information regarding the suspects that could help in the ongoing investigation.

Oregon State Police Sergeant Mark Duncan says the arrests were made on warrants issued after the investigation of a home invasion robbery that happened last November 22nd in the 3900 block of Highway 201 in Ontario.

Theft of Lottery Ticket Could Get Man Ten Years

Springfield Man Arrested Following Theft of Winning $50,000 Lottery Scratch-it Ticket

(SPRINGFILED, Ore.) - Charles Dizick An investigation by Oregon State Police Lottery Security Section detectives has led to the arrest of a Springfield man who allegedly stole a winning $50,000 scratch-it ticket from the victim at a Springfield restaurant. The suspect was arrested when he came to lottery headquarters to claim the $50,000 prize.

Police were contacted by the victim, a 37-year old Kooskia, Idaho resident, on December 26th, reporting the theft that day of a winning Oregon Lottery scratch-it ticket.
