(IRVINE, Calif.) - Irvine Ranch Panorama Recent scuttlebutt regarding the Superfund cleanup of former MCAS El Toro is that much of the hardscape will remain in place. Apparently it’s being given some spin by Larry Agran’s ass-covering minions as the homage (tribute) to the historical military use of the site, leaving the runways and possibly even entire arterial streets and sidewalks intact.

That’s PR for you when the people in charge have big marketing budgets provided on the backs of taxpayers.

(ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.) - Camp Lejeune “Kidney Cancer – first dad now mom” was the title of the first posting I saw on the Discussion Board of the website “The Few, The Proud, The Forgotten”.

The details of the posting made my heart sink into my boots. Once again, a new member had joined the discussion, looking for information and help. Once again, the story was tragic beyond belief. All as a result of exposure to contamination at Camp Lejeune.

The Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee has scheduled a hearing to examine the reasons and evidence used to add these three conditions to the list of presumptive diseases related to Agent Orange exposure.

Maritime Traffic Control Ban Lifted as Oil Spill Cleanup Continues in East China

40 monitoring stations are watching over a 1,500-square-kilometer area off the Chinese coast.

(DALIAN, China Xinhua) - China Oil Spill July 19, 2010 Authorities lifted a partial ban on maritime traffic at a major northeast China port Tuesday, four days after explosions hit crude oil pipelines here and caused a lingering oil spill.

The Maritime Affairs Administration of Liaoning Province reported that the ports in Dalian City have fully re-opened to traffic as of 5:00 p.m. Tuesday as waterways affected by the oil slick have been basically cleared for the resumption of shipping.
