However, the alleged charges were unsupportable and would have been easily dismissed by a court martial.

These hide the tramline bruise to the back of Colonel Sabow’s head, a tell tale sign of a violent blow by a blunt object like a lead pipe or baseball bat.

The case marks the first time an EU member state has considered the question of whether the Tamil Tigers is a terrorist organization.
