Salem Man Arrested in Major Drug Bust

Suspect was booked on an extensive list of drug and weapons charges.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Casey Miser Search warrants were served late last night in the 1300 block of Rafael Av N and the 3700 block of Portland Rd NE, resulting in one arrest and collection of a myriad of evidence.

This bust was the culmination of an approximately month long investigation by the Salem Police Department's Street Crimes Unit, assisted by the Keizer Police Department, and a narcotics detection K-9 and handler from the Oregon State Police.

Sly Salem Woman Arrested After Stealing Police Car

She manipulate her handcuffs and escaped from the rear seat of the patrol vehicle.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com A Salem woman is in custody on multiple charges following an incident where she was able to manipulate her restraints and steal a Salem Police patrol vehicle.

The incident began at approximately 3:15 pm when Salem Police officers contacted 25-year old Rebecca J Payne of Salem. She was at a motel and had valid warrants for her arrest.

(McMINNVILLE, Ore.) - Burger King stabbing A Burger King employee was stabbed outside the restaurant in north McMinnville this evening. The incident began across the highway in the WalMart parking lot, at the coffee stand, and appears to be random.

“The suspect was lurking around where I work and trying to come in our door,” wrote Jordan Schnepp on the YamCo facebook page. He works at the coffee stand.
