Clackamas Deputies Say `Exposer` Arrested Sunday Has Prior Convictions For Public Indecency

Records indicate that Bryon Earl Huff has at least 21 prior arrests; which includes 2 prior convictions for public indecency.

(HAPPY VALLEY, Ore.) - 47-year old Bryon Earl Huff Clackamas County Deputy Sheriff's responded to an alert of a man exposing himself that had just reportedly occurred at the Goodwill Store, located at 11424 SE 82nd Avenue, in Happy Valley, Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

Detective Jim Strovink, Clackamas Sheriff's Office Spokesman, says officers arrived and located 47-year old Bryon Earl Huff who was arrested and transported to the Clackamas County Jail.

Officials Find IED at Oregon School

The Metro Explosive Disposal Unit responded to the school, took control of the device, and transported it to a location for disposal.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Explosive device recovered at La Salle Catholic College Preparatory Police say that around 8:45 a.m. today, a La Salle Catholic College Preparatory employee found what appeared to be an unexploded device near the landscape shed on the school campus.

Detective Jeffrey Green with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded and identified the device as an improvised explosive device or "IED" which is what soldiers and Marines are often killed with in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Car Struck by Train in Clackamas County Near Canemah (PHOTOS)

The man was not trapped, and Clackamas Fire crews were able to assist him out of the vehicle and onto a backboard.

(CANEMAH, Ore.) - Car versus train crash It sounds like a frustrating experience. A 78-year old man somehow got his car stuck on the railroad track that passes through Canemah, which is south of Oregon City along Hwy 99.

Around 7:24 p.m., the man's car was struck by a train as he sat at the wheel, according to Steve McAdoo with Clackamas Fire District #1.

Surveilance Video and Images of Suspect in Assault of Elderly Woman (VIDEO)

The woman suffered severe injuries to her head, neck and upper torso after being attacked inside her cobalt-blue PT Cruiser.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - 73-year old woman who was assaulted in Clackamas, Ore. 1-24-09 Investigators in Clackamas County have released suspect information in the assault and kidnapping of a 73-year old woman last week.

As it turns out, the man was videotaped by three different cameras on the day of the assault, and they aren't grainy black and white images; even if the angle of the suspect isn't entirely clear, the video quality itself is.

Detective Jim Strovink with the Clackamas Sheriff's Office, says he hopes somebody in the public recognizes the man and calls their agency with information about his identity and location.

Clackamas Investigators Seek Suspect in Assault of 73-Year-Old Female

The reported crime took place Saturday afternoon in Clackamas‏ for an hour and ten minutes.

Investigators Seeking Pursuit Suspect Who Rammed Patrol Vehicle

The vehicle that was rammed is from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Smashed Clackamas Sheriff vehicle A Clackamas County deputy avoided injury Saturday night when a suspect in a Chevy Blazer rammed his patrol vehicle.

Clackamas Sheriff Spokesman Detective Jim Strovink, says it began Saturday evening at 10:19 PM, when a Clackamas County Sheriff's Patrol deputy, accompanied by his canine partner "Nero" attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a white, Chevrolet, Blazer, with one male occupant; which, this deputy reports seeing traveling southbound on Hwy 214, at Union School Road - operating this vehicle with no license plate lights, no license plates and no temporary permit displayed.

Portland Mountain Rescue Mountaineers Successfully Rescue One of Their Own

An Oregon Guard helicopter safely evacuated the injured climber and transported him to OHSU.

(MOUNT HOOD) - Pearly Gates Mt. Hood Police say an experienced mountaineer encountered falling ice while ascending Mount Hood Saturday morning around 10:21 AM, near what is referred to as the Pearly Gates portion of Mount Hood, with an elevation of approximately 10,000'.

45-year old Michael R. Leming of Portland, Oregon, a mountaineer, was struck with a ‘shower of falling ice', which caused this climber to fall a reported 200', says Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Spokesman Detective Jim Strovink.

"As a result of this violent fall, the climber suffered at least one broken ankle and was totally incapacitated. The injured climber was ascending the mountain with two other experienced climbers at the time of this incident. All members of this climbing party are well equipped and experienced climbers," Strovink said.

Sketch Of Suspect‏ in Home Invasion Robbery Released

The suspect is described as a white, male adult 18-20 years of age, six feet to six foot two, with short light brown hair.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - A woman was assaulted by a man with a shotgun today after entering her home just steps ahead of her father.

The 8:45 AM armed residential robbery was reported to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.

This event occurred at the address on SE Maple Street, in the Oak Grove area of Milwaukie. Detective Jim Strovink with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, says the adult female occupant at this address had just returned home to her residence after transporting her child to school.

Most Clackamas County Roads Reopen

Drivers are advised not to drive around barricades, and residents are asked to clear driveway culverts‏.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Flooded road As of mid-day Monday, January 5th, only a few Clackamas County roads were still closed because of the recent heavy rains and no county residents were "landlocked." County road workers have been on the job 24-hours a day since December 13th.

Officials say Henrici Road is closed between Shore Vista Drive and Driftwood Drive because of flooding that washed away a portion of the bridge approach. The recommended detour is to use Highway 213 to get between Redland Road and Beavercreek Road.

Sheriff Releases Name Of Deceased Woman In Clackamas River‏

Debra Bennett was last seen departing her place of employment in Eagle Creek on Saturday morning at 1:00 AM and was believed to be en route to her home.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Death investigation update The body of a woman recovered around noon today in the Clackamas River, has been identified as 46-year old Debra Mae Bennett, who resided with her mother on SE Kitzmiller Road, in Eagle Creek.

Jim Strovink with the Clackamas Sheriff's Office, says members of the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and Portland Mountain Search and Rescue located the deceased female approximately one-half mile down river from where her vehicle is believed to have entered the river from SE Kitzmiller Road, in Eagle Fern Park.
