(SAN FRANCISCO) - Earlier this month U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton became the first high level U.S. official to visit Laos since the Vietnam War.

Although not touted as such, the visit was an effort to mend fences with Laos, the most heavily bombed nation per capita in history.

(HONK KONG) - As a nation with a history of terrible violence, Cambodia needs to quickly and thoroughly address a very alarming situation; the shooting of three female garment workers in the Bavet town of Svay Rieng province on 20 February 2012.

Information indicates that the shooting took place as 6,000 workers gathered in solidarity in front of the Kaoway Sports Ltd factory, demonstrating for better work conditions.

An Australian and New Zealander, MacMillan and Rotheram had dug up the remains thought to be two photographers who had disappeared in Cambodia in 1970.
