U Gambira released but not free, pending trial without medical treatment.

(CHICAGO ) - U Gambira December 10, 2012 8:54 pm U Gambira, aka Nyi Nyi Lwin, was released on bail from Insein Prison, Yangon, Myanmar. He is with family and headed back to his family home 3 hours north of Yangon.

Despite the good news of this current release, U Gambira is not free. The government still has a trial date set for Friday December 14, 2012.

Bangladesh Deports 19 Rohingyas to Burma

Rohingyas were spreading out from the slum in Kutubpal to different parts of Bangladesh in search of livelihoods.

(YANGON, Myanmar Mizzima) - Border guards in Rohingya village in Burma Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) sent back 18 Rohingyas to Burma on Tuesday, according to Bangladeshi media.

The Rohingyas had been detained at different locations in Cox's Bazar, according to a named commanding officer of BGB 17 Battalion.

Burmese Imams And a Trojan Horse

Myanmar government authority forced Rohingya Mosques Imams to sign as "Bengali" in Maungdaw.

(DHAKA, Bangladesh) - One of the many mosques that are closed down due to ethnic strife between Muslims and Buddhists. Two days ago, police, Nasaka, immigration and Rakhine leaders invited Muslim (Rohingya) Imams by luring them, to hold a discussion on the subject of reopening mosques.

Htun Aung faced six charges, stemming from a request he made to hold a gathering to pray for 10 Muslims killed by an Arakanese mob.
