(LONDON) - Sri Lanka's Killing Fields Al Jazeera's Bahrain: Shouting in the Dark has earned the channel a nomination for Current Affairs in this year's Bafta TV Awards.

It's competing against Jon Snow's film, Sri Lanka's Killing Fields, for Channel 4 and two editions of Panorama on BBC1: The Truth about Adoption and Undercover Care: The Abuse Exposed.

Sayyed Mortaza Mirseradji, Iranian researcher, journalist and essayist has registered a plan in the Islamic Republic of Iran Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance to publish a book containing cultural, spiritual and moral records called "Al-Khayrat."

Oakland, CA: `Child`s View From Gaza` Exhibit

Opening Reception will go on as planned! September 24, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. 538 Ninth Street, downtown Oakland.

(OAKLAND, Calif.) - Gaza Art exhibit An exhibit of Palestinian children’s paintings (“A child’s view from Gaza”) was scheduled to open tomorrow (Sept. 24) from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Museum of Children’s Art in Oakland, CA.

The paintings were done after the Israeli military assault on Gaza in 2008/2009 which killed 1400 Palestinians including 300 children. So they depicted some of what the children had seen.

(SACRAMENTO) - Artist Andy Warhol's portrait of the late actress Farrah Fawcett. The University of Texas (UT) system is suing the American actor Ryan O’Neal for possession of an irreplaceable portrait the renowned artist Andy Warhol created of the late actress Farrah Fawcett.

Filed on July 8 in United States District Court, Central District of California, the university regents alleged that through a living trust, Fawcett bequeathed her entire collection of art to the University of Texas at Austin, her alma mater.
