Pit Bull Attacks Boy in Front of Beaverton International School

According to Washington County Animal Control, this is the third documented bite from the same dog.

(ALOHA, Ore.) - Pit bull attack Police say a ten-year old boy was bitten today while riding his two-wheeled "razor" on a sidewalk in Aloha. A dog reportedly came from across the street and attacked the boy at about 1:10 p.m.

His injuries are not life threatening and the dog has been quarantined, according to Sgt. David Thompson with the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Man Attempts to Drag Aloha High School Girl into Field

(ALOHA, Ore.) - Salem-News.com Deputies in Washington County say a man grabbed a 16-year old high-school girl by the wrist and tried to drag her into a field this morning around 8:00 a.m.

Dave Thompson with the Washington County Sheriff's Office says the girl was able to escape after calling 911 from her cell phone.

Foster Parent Who Had 90 Kids Over the Years, Arrested for Sexual Abuse

(ALOHA, Ore.) - Warren and Kenneth Tripp Criminal investigators say Aloha resident 59-year-old Warren Tripp, was arrested in January on charges involving sexual molestation of a child in his foster care home.

Sheriff's Detectives are seeking the public's help with identifying any other victims that may have suffered sexual abuse by Mr. Tripp but have not yet reported it to law enforcement.

Man Arrested After Explosion Rocks Aloha Apartment Complex (PHOTOS)

Eleven people including seven children were displaced because of the fire. Red Cross Disaster Services responded to the scene to assist the families with shelter.

Deputies ask Public to Watch for Missing Aloha Man

Donald Errend is described as 6-feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds.

(ALOHA, Ore.) - Police are looking for a 55-year-old man missing from Aloha who is Schizophrenic and needs his medication. Donald Errend has not been seen since yesterday evening.

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a man missing from a group home in Aloha Wednesday at 6:49 PM. 55-year-old Donald Errend is a diagnosed Schizophrenic and regularly takes medication for his condition.

Police Arrest Man for Exposing Himself in Big Lots Store

A female employee reportedly confronted the man and told him to put his genitals back in his pants. He is said to have replied, "Oh, is that mine?" and continued to fondle himself.

(ALOHA, Ore.) - 42-year old Daniel A. Hemmerling of Vancouver Investigators in Washington County say a man was arrested for exposing himself to employees and customers at the Aloha Big Lots store.

Sgt. David Thompson, spokesman for the Sheriff's Office in Washington County, says the suspect was chased from the store by employees and later arrested hiding in an adjacent business that he had broken into.

Deputies Avoid Shooting Knife Wielding Cat Killer Suspect in Aloha

Aloha man accused of killing cat and resisting arrest and several other charges.

(ALOHA, Ore.) - 28-year old Ryan Daggett of Aloha is the suspect in a resisting arrest and cat killing incident; 5-31-08 An Aloha man faces numerous charges from an incident that began early Saturday morning, as deputies attempted to perform a welfare check at his home on SW Sammy Drive in Aloha.

What followed was a bizarre series of incidents; involving a knife wielding man, slashed police cruiser tires, and a dead cat.

Woman Escapes from Attacker in Aloha

It happened at 2:30 AM Sunday morning.

(ALOHA, Ore.) - Sketch of alleged assailant Police say a woman ran into a Plaid Pantry store in Aloha early Sunday morning, and reported that she had been attacked at the bus stop outside. Deputies arrived on scene shortly after the clerk called 911.

The woman said that at about 2:20 AM, a clerk at the Plaid Pantry store located at 20925 SW TV Highway called 911 to report that a woman had been attacked and ran into his store.

Arsonist Sets Car and House Ablaze With Residents Sleeping Inside

Anyone with information on the fire should call the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

(ALOHA, Ore.) - Fire investigation Firefighters and Sheriff's Deputies responded to SW Vienna Drive early Friday morning, over a reported vehicle on fire in a driveway. It was reported that the fire also caught the garage of the house on fire.

Sgt. Bob Ray with the Washington County Sheriff's Office says the fire appears to be intentionally started. "The suspect or suspects had already fled the scene," he stated.

Investigators Say Drive-By Shooting in Aloha is Gang Related

The Gang Team with Aloha Police would like to hear from anyone with information about this shooting.

(ALOHA, Ore.) - Drive by shooting Nobody was injured in a drive-by shooting that was reported at 19965 S.W. York Street in Aloha early this morning, just after midnight. Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff's Office were called out to investigate.

Sgt. David Thompson with the Washington County Sheriff's Office, says several bullets struck the occupied house, but no one inside was injured. The Interagency Gang Enforcement Team is investigating the shooting.
