Portland Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash at 148th and Glisan

Investigators say the 42-year-old man died from his injuries after arriving at the hospital.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Police say 42-year-old Curtis Rhodes of Portland, was killed while riding his motorcycle while southbound on 148th Avenue at Glisan Street when he lost control of his motorcycle. Investigators believe speed was a contributing factor in this accident. The crash happened today at approximately 10:45 a.m.

Portland Police officers arriving on the scene located a severely injured motorcycle rider that had apparently loss control of his motorcycle.

The Portland Police Bureau's Major Crash Team was called to the scene to investigate due to the seriousness of the injuries.

Investigators say the 42-year-old man died from his injuries after arriving at the hospital. No other vehicles were involved in this incident.
