(ISLAMABAD, Pakistan) - On 16th August, 2012, a 14 year-girl old girl named Rimsha was arrested in a Blasphemy Case in Islamabad Pakistan. It was late evening, when Muslim extremists apparently got together. Called by cleric Qari Mohammad Khalid Chashti, they shouted against Christians living in that vicinity.

Many from Christian houses feared that they would be lit ablaze. Some Christians were reportedly tortured and they were being beaten severely. Some Christian families left their houses in the late midnight and fled from the place saving their lives. They went to their relatives to nearby colonies and saved their lives.

Later, other Christians, Church based humanitarian organizations and foreign funded organizations reached there. Since the case is being monitored and covered by some of the world's well known news agencies, some organizations promoted their business on Rimsha case; they are exploiting and commercializing the tragic case of Rimsha.

It is shameful that some of the Church based humanitarian organizations, so-called Justice and Peace Commissions and other NGO's are enjoying funds for vested interests received to safe victims of blasphemy, rehabilitation of Poor’s and other persecuted and displaced Christians of Sector G-11, Islamabad Pakistan.

They claimed that displaced Christian children, women, men and elders by the hundreds are being brought in shelters in secure vicinities and provided with food and water. But the reality is that they are just making money and commercializing this case. Most of them, have done just paper work, they have not even visited the area and not aware of the exact figures.

I received email from American lady, she wrote, “My name is Kimberly Culpen and I live in the United States of America, I don't understand why charitable organizations such as LEAD and VOM don't help people. LEAD had a family come in, take a picture and post it on their site making it look as if they are helping that family. Yet, family has yet to receive any help from them. Family head told me that several people have made charitable donations intended for his family through LEAD but never received it.”

There are few others, who is just doing press conferences and wasting funds. Funding agencies should monitor it as well.

We have visited the area many times and met many people there, and well aware of the ground realities where situation was totally different.

The reality is these organizations try to exploit and commercialize these cases.

Here are the few statements of the few expert who have been monitoring these sort of cases;
NAZIR BHATTI (Editor PCP)
“I doubt that Rimsha Masih case will be made more complicated by administration, as his age and disability is not assessed by independent medical board of doctors and Christian organization which is dealing case have not hired any face value attorney who may fight legal venues of this issues” said Nazir Bhatti
JOSEPH FRANCIS (International Director CLAAS)
"I think, in Rimsha case they should not file the bail application, instead they should file requital application 295 K" said Joseph Francis

In the wake of above mentioned statements, it is doubted that instead of solving the case, it is fear that they might spoil the situation...........
