Reported Gunshot Victim in Newberg

(NEWBERG, Ore.) - This morning at approximately 7:10 a.m. officers from the Newberg-Dundee Police Department were called to a local business on a report of a gunshot victim.

An investigation is underway at the business and one person is confirmed deceased.

At this time there does not appear to be nefarious circumstances but the name is not being released pending family notification.

Some family is out of the immediate area so this could delay any further information.

The Yamhill County Major Crime Response Team (MCRT) has not been notified or activated on this case
