Newport Man Busted for Meth in Lincoln City

Deputies also found a glass meth pipe that was hidden in the suspect's sock.

(LINCOLN CITY, Ore. ) - Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a Newport man after a search of his backpack turned-up Methamphetamine.

Deputies on Thursday contacted 22-year-old Adam Arrambide at the intersection of US Highway 101 and NE Holmes Road in Lincoln City. Deputies obtained consent to search a backpack Arrambide was wearing.

Deputies located a digital scale and several small plastic baggies used to package Methamphetamine, and two plastic baggies containing Methamphetamine. Deputies also found a glass Methamphetamine pipe that was hidden in Arrambide’s sock.

Arrambide was arrested and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged. Arrambide was charged with Unlawful Possession and Delivery of Methamphetamine. His bail is set at $75,000.
