(DHAKA, Bangladesh) - Just a few minutes ago a reliable source informed us over phone that Some Muslims villages in Mray Bon township were burnt down by Rakhines and more than 15,000 displaced Muslim Rohingyas are now sheltering in hills area.

The location is Aboker Dala where the Rakhines are torching hills and trapping the residents with the intention of slaughtering all.

They are in fact, in a great trouble and the terrified Rohingyas call for help for protection and humanitarian aid.

Please influence or pressurize president Thein Sein to protect and supply food and medicines to them or international aid groups must reach the scene.

Also 40 motor boats loaded with displaced Rohingy villagers are now floating on the Bay of Bengal and trying to land at Sittwe (Akyab), though their destination was Bangladesh or Maungdaw but they have no enough diesel and food and water to sail to Maung Daw.

They know that Bangladesh border has been sealed for them. The authority of Sittwe is not allowing them to land Akyab. In this situation the international community should come forward to protect lives of displaced Muslim Rohingyas. Nurul Islam is a Human Rights Activist in Balgladesh.
