Shooting Incident in Clakamas Under Investigation

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Late Saturday evening at 11:51 p.m. two male adults engaged in a physical altercation in the parking lot of Jay's Bar and Grill, located at 11595 SE 82ND Avenue.

As a result of this physical altercation, a handgun was discharged by the male suspect in this case and the victim patient was shot, with a handgun, in the hip. This victim patient was transported from the scene to a local Portland area hospital conscious and breathing.

The shooting suspect and focus of this ongoing investigation is reported to have fled the scene and is described as a:

Black male adult, in his early 20's, 6'00 tall, slender build, with a buzz-cut hair style. This suspect is described to have been wearing a black sweat-shirt, blue baggy pants and black shoes.

This described suspect is reported to have been accompanied by a male accomplice during this event described as a:

Black male adult, in his 20's, 5'10" tall, with both ears pierced and wearing maroon colored clothing.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is on scene investigating this shooting incident. Any additional details and suspect information will be released later as this investigation proceeds.

There are no crime scene photographs available.

The 23-year-old, male victim in this case has been transported from the scene by American Medical Response, conscious and breathing with what appears to be a gunshot wound in the hip region of this lone, male victim.
