(DHAKA, Bangladesh) - I have just learned by telephonic conversation that yesterday, the Rakhines torched the historic Mosque (Biggest of Kyaukpro) and most of the parts of it burnt down.

The Rakhines tried to torch Muslim houses in Kyaukpro, but in vain due to the intervention of the army.

A tense situation stemming from this bout of ethnic cleansing continues to prevail in Kyaukpro.

Today about 5000 Burmese Muslims (Non-Rohingya) tried to hold a demonstration against the Rakhine's attack in Arakan on Rohingyas in Yangon, but the government is lingering and hesitating to provide permission.

They are trying to attain permission at any cost.

As expressing solidarity with Rohingyas, the Association of Burmese Muslims in Yangon announced they are not observing Eid-Ul-Azha this year.

The news are still emerging.
