(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - At 1:46am, Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies received a call from a homeowner who reported that a car had struck the front of their house and caused significant damage. Additionally, they reported that the driver of the vehicle was out of the car and unconscious. The house was occupied at the time of the crash, but no one inside was hurt. Deputies responded to the scene of the crash and located 26-year-old Patrick Bennett of Beaverton. Mr. Bennett drove his 2002 Honda down SW 211th Place striking two parked vehicles before coming to a stop when he crashed into a house. During their investigation, deputies suspected Mr. Bennett of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Mr. Bennett admitted to consuming alcohol prior to driving. He also reported that he recalled driving on SW 185th Avenue, but did not know how he ended up on SW 211th Place. Mr. Bennett was transported via ambulance to St. Vincent Hospital for his injuries.
