Death Investigation in Tillamook

The 47-year old man was pronounced deceased at the scene. His name will be released Tuesday morning.

(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) - Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers, with the assistance of the Tillamook County Medical Examiner, will be continuing an investigation following the death of man found slumped in the driver's seat of his work vehicle at the entrance to the Tillamook Cheese Factory.

There is no indication of foul play.

According to OSP Sergeant Greg Plummer, on October 18, 2010 at approximately 3:37 p.m. OSP troopers and Tillamook County-area emergency responders went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory following a report of a man slumped behind the steering wheel of his work vehicle.

The 47-year old man was pronounced deceased at the scene. His name will be released Tuesday morning.

Assisting OSP with the investigation were the Tillamook County Sheriff's Office, Tillamook Police Department, Tillamook Ambulance, Tillamook County Medical Examiner, and the Tillamook County District Attorney's Office.
