(NEW YORK) - Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke says the recession is 'very likely over' however the economic recovery will take some time.

These tough times can make it difficult to maintain your “fiscal fitness.”

But, if your debt is mounting and your credit rating is hurting, there is help available.

One person who has some good advice in ways to get rid of their debt quicker and potentially save money on interest payments, is Steve Ely, President of Equifax’s Consumer Business.
