5 Broken Cameras- A Must See for All

Any decent person who has a spare video camera, or is upgrading should send one to someone in the occupied territories so that Israel's utter disregard for human dignity can be displayed far and wide. - Anthony Lawson

(BIL'IN, Occupied Palestine) - The reviews on the new film '5 Broken Cameras' which tells the story of a Palestinian farmer's attempt to document the Israeli attacks on this community, are solid and humbling. We have brought our viewers many stories over the years replete with video and photos, showing the reality of this community under intense occupation, where Israeli soldiers routinely harass and intimidate the local indigenous Palestinians with all manner of violent tactics, nearly all of which violate international human rights law.

The United States government blindly backs the illegal acts of Israel and this Sundance Film just might blow the lid off of this terrible ordeal that has been taking place steadily under Zionist Israel since 1947 when Jewish terrorists began routing Palestinians from their historic communities and homes. They shoot children and they murder without fear of punishment, Israel is an apartheid state and backing it is one of the darkest aspects of the treasonous U.S. government. Two of our writers who are deeply involved in the struggle to free Palestine, Anthony Lawson and Ken O'Keefe, shared their thoughts.

Agreed on the value of this, and the dangers to those on the ground using cameras. But I believe the camera, truth, to be the most powerful weapon of all. I will promote a plan to collect cameras, and I probably have some contacts who could help with getting them into the West Bank, but I can definitely get them in Gaza once shipped to Egypt... and I can carry some to Gaza when I return there in late November.
