(SALEM, Ore.) - The Turkish Sabah Daily's website has reported that a delegation from the Economic Policy Research Center of Turkey traveled to Israel to discuss the creation of an industrial zone in the occupied West Bank of the Jordan River.

According to the Turkish delegation, the meeting with the right-wing Likud party's head of regional cooperation involved discussions of how to create the industrial zone near Jenin through Turkish investment, and also with support of Israel, the US and other European support.

These interactions and negotiations come even Erdogan's government has in the past, been regarded as a strong source of support for the occupied Palestinians.
