(SALEM, Ore.) - The Los Angeles-based performing group Camerashrapnel will make a one-night stop in Salem as part of its upcoming west coast tour with its new show, “ISM.”

The performance is slated for the Chemeketa College Auditorium on Saturday, October 13th, at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door.

The troupe bills their work as a totally new form of teledramatic art. Camerashrapnel combines live performance and film to create a new genre of poetry and sketch comedy.

With several performances under their belt, the innovative group embarks on their first west coast tour. “ISM” dissects racism, sexism, and classism in America through Camerashrapnel's unique lens: a hybrid of theatre, film, slam poetry, and improv.

From the trials of modern day Dungeons and Dragons to the analytical wooden-fence banter of two dairy cows, Camerashrapnel’s latest show explores the strange world of existence and the diverse “isms” offered for us to join and espouse. For more information about the group, visit camerashrapnel.com

The Chemeketa College Auditorium is located in Building 6 on the Salem campus, 4000 Lancaster Drive N.E.
