Western Oregon Christmas Tree Lighting Tonight

The Oregon room will be filled with music by the Chamber Singers, visits with Santa, and children's crafts.

(MONMOUTH, Ore. ) - Western Oregon University will be holding it's 40th annual Holiday Tree Lighting tonight November 28th from 6:00 to 10:00 PM.

The outside proceedings will start with a Holiday Parade followed by performances by: Christ's Church Bell Ringers, WOU Brass Ensemble, and WOU Chamber Choir. Holiday greetings from Dr. John Minahan, WOU President, will also take place outside.

Inside the Werner University Center, the Pacific room will have performances by: Monmouth Elementary School Choir, Central High School Symphonic Choir, and Central High School Main Street Singers.

The Oregon room will be filled with music by the Chamber Singers, visits with Santa, and children's crafts.
