Crime Stoppers Case #10-45 Portland, Oregon - Nancy Bergeson Homicide

While performing the autopsy on Ms. Bergeson, the medical examiner determined that Ms. Bergeson actually died as a result of homicidal violence

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in solving a year old homicide case.

On Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Portland Police uniform officers were called to the 4100 block of Southwest Hamilton. Upon arrival, the officers found Nancy Bergeson deceased in her home. The officers notified the Medical Examiner's Office and one of their representatives responded to the scene.

The medical examiner at the scene initially determined that Ms. Bergeson died as a result of natural causes. Ms. Bergeson was removed from her home and was transported to the Medical Examiner's Office. While performing the autopsy on Ms. Bergeson, the medical examiner determined that Ms. Bergeson actually died as a result of homicidal violence.
