(SALEM, Ore.) - If you live in the Salem/Keizer area and follow local motorsports, then the odds are good that you have heard of Rich Bailey. His smiling face is always front and center at car events, but his biggest talents in Rich Bailey may be found in his attitude, it is infectious with good will, and most of his activities have a hard time containing it.

Oregon Filmmaker Chuck Stenberg who has completed a documentary on Bailey, says what sets this talented drag car driver and longtime local resident apart from many other drivers, "Is his unique method of promoting his sponsors and how he uses his 'Capitol Auto Group Rocketeer Dragster' to help raise money and awareness for kids with various health problems."

One example Stenberg cites as an example of Bailey's commitment for helping kids and the local community, is the "Night of Fire" annual fundraiser car show

After six months of editing, shooting and a lot of hard work, Stenberg has finished this documentary on the Capitol Race team called "Wheels of Speed Heart of Compassion". See: 2007 Night of Fire Benefit Car Show (VIDEO)

"Those that have already seen the film really enjoyed it," Stenberg said. "Comcast Cable in Salem will air the 60 minute doumentary in December, ten different times during prime viewing hours. It should be noted that this is Mr. Stenberg's production and was produced independently of the the race team.

That Rich is one fast dude, I almost lost to him once! Seriously, I doubt many Oregonians realize the impact he has on people here, you are a stellar guy Bailey, I hope you never change.
