(GAZA STRIP) - Israeli forces launched a limited incursion into the south of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, as Jewish settlers set two Palestinian vehicles on fire in the West Bank.

In recent days, Israel staged almost daily incursions into the Hamas-run Gaza Strip, with Israeli troops often firing haphazardly at Palestinian farmers and homes near the border.

"Six Israeli bulldozers pushed 200 meters into Khan Younis city in the south of the Gaza Strip," one eyewitness told Anadolu Agency.

Eyewitnesses said Israeli troops had combed and searched the area while armed vehicles opened fire towards Palestinian lands.

No injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, residents said Palestinian gunmen fired a mortar shell toward Kissufim crossing east of Khan Younis.

No Palestinian group claimed responsibility for the mortar firing.

No statement was issued by the Israeli army about the attack.

In another development, Jewish settlers set two Palestinian vehicles ablaze and sprayed-painted a house in Far’ata village in the West Bank town of Nablus.

Six Palestinian refugees killed in Syria

Al Qassam website- Damascus- Six Palestinian refugees were killed in Syria over the past 24 hours in shelling on their camps, activists in those camps said on Monday.

The action group for Palestinians of Syria said in a press release that four of the martyrs, including a woman, fell in Dera refugee camp that came under heavy shelling.

A young man was killed in Yarmouk refugee camp, south of Damascus, the group said, adding that he was gunned down by a sniper while walking near a secondary school.

It said that another youth was killed in clashes in Khan Danun refugee camp.

The action group noted that armed clashes and mortar shells, which slam the refugee camps almost daily, inflict casualties among the refugees, adding that all Palestinian refugee camps in Syria have been under tight siege for months.
