West Linn Police Arrest Pair After Routine Car-Stop Leads to Evidence Car Prowls in Lake Oswego

(WEST LINN, Oregon) - West Linn Police arrested Santera Evelyn Beavis (35 of Keizer) and her ex-husband Bradley Christian Beavis (37 of Salem) after a traffic stop reveals evidence of car break-ins, and drug possession.

WLPD Officer Jason Dolan passed the suspect's vehicle traveling south on Willamette Dr and checked the license of the car. The registered owner had an arrest warrant, he turned around to catch up to the car, and it began to drive erratically. Ofc. Dolan stopped the car on the on ramp to I-205 south from Willamette Dr.

During his investigation, he found children's school backpacks belonging to people in Lake Oswego, that the Beavis' could not explain. With the assistance of Lake Oswego Officer Bradford, it was determined that the items had been stolen from cars parked in Lake Oswego.

Mr. Beavis was charged with 2 counts of Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle, and possession of Burglar's Tools. He was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Mrs. Beavis was charged with 2 counts of Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of Burglar's Tools, and Possession of Controlled Substances (PCS) Methamphetamine, her bail is $30,000.
