UPDATE: Amber Alert Canceled for Washington Girl

The child is safe, the Amber Alert is over.

(WHITE SWAN, WA) - UPDATE: Suspect taken into custody at Kennewick Police Department without incident. Child located with suspect and unharmed.

An Amber Alert has been issued out of White Swan, Washington for a two-year old child taken by a suspect described as a sex offender.

According to information released by officials:

    Rape suspect left with a 2 year old female child from the Toppenish area possibly enroute the Spokane area. No known weapons. Suspect is highly intoxicated.

The victim is a two-year old girl named XXXXXXXXX.

The suspect is 28-year old Chet Arlie Moses, who is 200 pounds, 5'11" Native American male.

He is said to be driving a blue 2001 Ford Explorer.
