Woman Robbed and Sexually Assaulted in her Car

(CEDAR HILLS, Ore.) - Update: Woman Who Claimed to be Raped and Kidnapped Recants Story

Police say a woman was kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and robbed today in the Cedar Hills Area when a man jumped in her car at a stop sign.

Detectives are still interviewing the victim and do not have a specific location where this occurred. They believe it was in the area of the Cedar Hills Shopping Center, Located on SW Park Way.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a dark complexion probably under 30 years of age. He has a tattoo on the left side of his neck. He was wearing jeans and a grey jacket with two blue stripes down the sleeves. He was dirty and appeared to be transient.

The victim is a Hispanic female who was driving a dark blue Hyundai Accent with four doors. The suspect forced the victim to drive around the neighborhood and then to the Peterkort Shopping Center where he forced her to withdraw money from the Wells Fargo drive through ATM. The suspect was last seen in the area of the Sunset Transit Center.

Detectives are asking the public to be on the lookout for this suspect. If you saw anything that may be related to this crime today between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. please call 503-629-0111 and report it immediately.
