(HILLSBORO, Ore.) - A K9 team from North Oregon Regional Search and Rescue (NORSAR) Located 30-year-old Jonathan Cupps just before 11:00 p.m. tonight. The team had been searching along side Sheriff’s Search and Rescue personnel and volunteers from the Washington County Rescue Explorer Post 877. Jonathan was located about a half mile from his house lying in a wooded area unconscious. He was hypothermic and was transported to Emanuel Hospital for treatment. It is unknown at this time how long Jonathan was down on the ground, but with temperatures expected in the 30’s overnight it is likely that Mr. Cupps, who was only wearing shorts and a t-shirt, would not have made it though the night. The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank NORSAR and their generous volunteers for the time spent on this search. Mr. Cupps condition is not known at this time.
