Afghan-Iraqi Freedom Memorial to be Dedicated Nov. 11th

“The Memorial will be a place of healing and reflection for all visitors, especially for families, who have lost loved ones in Afghanistan and Iraq.”

(SALEM) - The dedication of the Afghan-Iraqi Freedom Memorial, on the grounds of the Oregon Veterans’ Building in Salem, will be held on Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11th at 2:00 PM. Governor Ted Kulongoski will be the keynote speaker at the ceremony. Jim Willis, Director of the Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and Oregon’s Adjutant General, Major General Fred Rees, will also speak.

Planning and fundraising efforts to establish a memorial to honor all Oregon servicemembers who have been lost in Iraq and Afghanistan has been supported by Oregonians from around the state.

Groundbreaking for the Memorial occurred on June 14th, 2005. Crews of volunteers began erecting the Memorial on September 11th, 2006. Volunteers have worked nearly around the clock, seven days a week to complete the Memorial by the dedication date.

“The Memorial will be a place of healing and reflection for all visitors, especially for families, who have lost loved ones in Afghanistan and Iraq,” Willis said. “It will also be a lasting tribute to the honor and sacrifice made by these brave service members while defending this nation.”

A flyover by an Oregon Army National Guard UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter will occur during the dedication ceremony at approximately 2:50 PM. The Oregon Veterans’ Building is located at 700 Summer Street, N.E., Salem.

I have to stick up for Beamer. In order for you to understand The New World Order, you have to study the Illuminati or the back of our one dollar bill. The pyramid will not be in two pieces once the New World Order is complete. The latin on the bill means New Order or New Age and the date of 1776 represents May 1, 1776 which was the official birth of the Illuminati. It has nothing to do with the American Revolution. Everything we were taught in school was a bunch of patriotic crap. Americans should read a French History book. They come out like sunshine. The French are the best if you read the school history books in France.

Hey Karen, From the grandson of a German Veteran, I say, "Take gas!" You sound like a young naive girlscout. You believe what T.V. and newspapers tell you? You think the U.S. is not as crooked as a cork screw? How do you think that we got to the top (which is over by the way). The biggest liar, thieves and crooks go the farthest.
