"his staunch religious based anti-abortion stance . . ." What are you talking about? Ron Paul has consistently said that abortion should be up to the states to decide. Problem with that? Then you have a problem with liberty.

To all: Careful overview from Day One with Paul leads me to agree with Neal completely --something that sometimes gives me to look again ! SO I did --and I STILL agree with above. Libertarian only just barely better than Neo-Con OR Neo-Lib, of which we've had eight-year sample.

Eon Paul is a Libertarian... one of those 'I support someone having all the rights they can afford to pay for themselves'. They are the Marie Antoinettes of the modern age with their 'Let them eat cake!" laissez-faire attitudes. But his staunch religious based anti-abortion stance pretty much undermines his fiscally libertarian ideals and claims. I think the Pauliwogs' naively follow this guy but he would destroy this nation faster even than shrub has done. Ah well...
