UPDATE: Windows Broken in 23 Parked Cars in Keizer

The Keizer Police Department is offering up to a $500 Reward for information leading to arrest and conviction

(KEIZER) - Keizer Police were called to investigate a criminal mischief call early Sunday morning in the Gubser Neighborhood area, on Keizer’s Miracle of Christmas Route. Shortly after the first call at 8:00 AM, a second victim made a report from the same neighborhood.

Keizer Police say that after arriving, an officer started to notice numerous other vehicles that were parked in front of homes and had damage.

All told, a total of 23 vehicles were damaged during the early morning hours and in each case, the front windshield or rear window was shattered out. Investigators say it appears that some type of blunt object was used in each of the cases.

Damaged estimates to all are approximately $7,200.00 dollars but police say that number ise expected to rise as calls continue to funnel in.

The Keizer Police Department is asking the public's help in finding out who is responsible for the damage caused.
