(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Portland Fire & Rescue responded to a river incident that involved five craft in a marine fire reported just before 8:00 this evening. It occurred behind Babeckos Yacht Sales located at 3157 NE Marine Dr. A total of two fireboats, four fire engines and two fire trucks were dispatched.

One family has been displaced as the result of the fire, but reportedly has a place to stay.

Two craft involved in the fire were cut loose and drifted. The five craft involved include one waverunner, a 15-foot dingy, and 28-foot, 34-foot, and 42-foot boats.

Portland Fire and Rescue investigators are currently on scene. No cause has yet been reported. Updates will be posted for additional information as it is received.

Responders: 2 Fire boats, 4 Engines, 2 Trucks, 6 Chiefs & 2 Investigators Responded at 7:57pm Arrived at 8:03pm Recalled at approximately 8:40pm
