(CANBY) - Canby Police say two juveniles were arrested over a gang fight that occurred in Canby at about 2:49 PM Thursday. The fight was at the intersection of SE Township Rd and S Lupine Street.

Canby Police Officer Chris Mead says a 15-year old male that has local gang ties and a 13-year old male associated with a different and possibly rival gang, were arrested for Disorderly Conduct and lodged at the Clackamas County Juvenile Department.

There were no injuries during the fight and it is alleged to have started when one male started making gang signs and comments to the other male.

This is another incident in an ongoing conflict between two local gangs in the Canby Area.

Canby really isn't a farm town anymore... more of a bedroom community. Sixty-five percent of their residents leave town to work in other cities a recent study found. If you are going to cover outlying cities, might want to make sure you know how to correctly characterize them. Good story otherwise.

Amazing! In Salem it takes a dead body to make the SJ. Like the fire-bombing of a car a few nights back never made the print.
