Clinton Believes End is in Sight With Montana and South Dakota Primaries

Local leaders in the final primary states are backing Hillary, but in the end, the superdelegates will determine the outcome of the race.

(HELENA, Montana) - Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton believes her long running battle with Barack Obama could be over in just a few days with the conclusion of the last two state primaries.

Clinton told reporters in Montana, "I think that after the final primaries, people are going to start making up their minds. I think that is the natural progression that one would expect."

Montana and South Dakota hold the final primaries Tuesday.

She has a measurable degree of support in these states. Prominent tribal officials say they will lead outreach efforts in what the Clinton Campaign refers to as "Indian Country". Her campaign announced that leaders in South Dakota are rallying to her aid.

"Following Hillary’s visit to Indian Country two days ago, the Clinton campaign today announced the endorsement of 22 tribal leaders in South Dakota. These supporters will help lead the campaign’s outreach efforts in the Native American community over the next five days."

But in the end, the superdelegates will determine the outcome of the race, and that is a fact that nobody disagrees with.

Clinton told reporters, "I think that people will have to ask themselves those questions, who would be the best president in terms of preparation and readiness and effectiveness, and who would be the stronger candidate."
