The president boldly laid out to this crowd the painful facts: The situation in the Middle East does not allow for procrastination; Israel needs peace now.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Americans for Peace Now (APN) applauds President Obama’s courageous speech at AIPAC’s policy conference in Washington today.

“President Obama again demonstrated that he is a staunch friend of Israel, deeply concerned about Israel’s future as a democracy and a secure Jewish state,” said APN’s President and CEO Debra DeLee.

”The President enumerated, to great applause, the many concrete steps that his administration took to bolster Israel’s security and its standing worldwide.”

DeLee Said: “The President did not back off from the vision for Israeli-Palestinian peace that he began to lay out last Thursday. President Obama re-affirmed his position that a future peace deal between Israelis and Palestinians must provide for Israel’s security and for a viable, contiguous Palestinian state. Any agreement must therefore be based on the pre-1967 lines with mutually agreed upon land swaps. This was much-needed straight-talk from the President. He offered a reasonable, realistic approach, which – as the President indicated – has been the template of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations for more than a decade, and is broadly accepted as the basis for future peace. The President correctly criticized those who attempted to discredit his commitment to Israel and to peace by misrepresenting his vision of the future borders between Israel and Palestine.

“It takes real leadership, resolve and conviction to stand before a group that supports the policy of the Israeli government, and talk candidly about disagreements with Israel’s prime minister. The president boldly laid out to this crowd the painful facts: The situation in the Middle East does not allow for procrastination; Israel needs peace now.

“We look forward to President Obama manifesting his leadership on Israeli-Palestinian peace through actions that bring Israeli and Palestinian leaders to the negotiating table and produce a lasting peace accord.”

You guys that support Obama and call yourselves Jewish people are Zionist prigs! You are what masada2000.org calls (S)elf (H)ating (I)srael (T)hreatening Jews. You should be ashamed of yourselves, but you're too Pharisaical and idolaters to see your own folly. It takes a Black Gentile to tell you FOOLS what buffoons you are. I'll bet you don't even observe Shabbat. That you would DARE to applaud a man whose very being and existence is to exterminate Israel, and establish Sharia Law right here in America; and who is an ardent Black Nationalist/Muslim hates whites and Jewish People. What FOOLS you are for supporting him. You need to read BLACK MAN HATES OBAMA: The Views of a Conservative, Patriotic Black Man by RainMan to know the truth about him. Some of you may be blinded because you're too stupid to research him for yourselves; most of you are liberal queefs who were born Jews, but hate your heritage. What a shame. It is FACT that Israel won the Golan Height, The Gaze Strip and The West Bank when the dumb Arabs tried to sneak attack Israel. She kicked their butts, and sent them home crying, and those parcels of land are what we call "booty", or spoils of war. Get over it. She won the land fair and square. Why didn't EGYPTIAN KING Hussein grant them the land when the Arabs had 100% control? because it has never been about peace; it has always been about the encroaching Muslims claiming land that was NOT decreed to them. Maybe if you fools would stop following the Oral Teachings of your desecrating "rabbis", you wouldn't be so demon possessed, and have your mind easily persuaded by lies. Take a look at masada2000.org, and learn the truth. I'm sure you won;t, and I even doubt this post will make it onto your liberal, freedom of speech denying dungeon; but it felt good writing it nevertheless. blkmanhatesobama01
