May-20-2010 19:12TweetFollow @OregonNews Stephen Baldwin is a Blatant RacistTim King Salem-News.com"Stay white, stay right, it's the only hope we've got" - Stephen Baldwin
(SALEM, Ore.) - I know a few things in this world, and one, sadly, is the real nature, character, and intelligence level of the actor Stephen Baldwin. He may or may not remember our encounter; Donny Osmond, I believe clearly would remember it. It was during a celebrity all star basketball match in Las Vegas, when I worked for Sin City's KVVU FOX-5 News. The game was held to raise proceeds for inner city kids. My assignment on that day was to interview Donny Osmond about his (I believe it was a FOX Network) TV show that was debuting on our station. There was a flurry of activity as I rolled up to this interview in my station's custom Hummer news truck. It won the celebrity contest every day. There was a big area marked off for the tournament near the Hard Rock Cafe. Basketballs were everywhere, kids hoops, celebrities, it was exciting. Donny Osmond was just what you would expect... all stars and no lights. He even had his sunglasses on inside the celeb tent, right until the camera was rolling. But that's cool, I'm sure he's a good person, unlike his old buddy Stephen B. After the handlers were done primping Osmond, and I had my wireless mic attached and trimmed to hide the cord, we fired up the light and sat down for the interview. It was bound to be one of those brainless, predictable interviews. I think I began with something like, "So Donny, you have a brand new TV show debuting on FOX, tell me what your message is for Las Vegas residents, particularly those who grew up watching you and your sister on TV." Shades off and in character, Donny Osmond began to relay the typical celebrity type of answer. During the interview he seemed sincere, I'm sure he was glad to talk about his new venture, and also to benefit the kids in our city with his presence and involvement in the basketball game. Now if you have this picture in your mind, try to imagine how I felt when some apparently half intoxicated bozo walked up to Donny Osmond, literally, clearly, crashing our television interview. Stepping between Osmond and the camera, only facing the camera as he did it. Donny Osmond was shocked, but seemed to recognize this sort of slovenly, aloof character, I still didn't. In fact it would be hours before the people I worked with laughed and said our interview crasher was the little Baldwin brother. This is where it gets confusing. Baldwins are know for many things beyond their acting talent, but I was sure they were part of the liberal left. Not this one. With the camera rolling, the lights on and the wireless mic hot, Osmond, clearly trying to think of a way to handle the situation, said to Baldwin, "Hey, I'm not very good at basketball, you have any advice". At which point, Baldwin held his hand to his chest in the the Caucasian 'C' - a type of racist gang sign for lack of better terms, and said, "Stay white, stay right, it's the only hope we've got". Donny Osmond looked shocked to say the least, even as he parroted the words back in the form of a question, giving Baldwin his shot at clarity. What did Baldwin say? The exact same thing again: "Stay white, stay right, it's the only hope we've got". Because he was speaking directly into the mic, my mic, clipped to Donny Osmond, the words could not have more clarity. Baldwin wasn't on stage, he wasn't rehearsing a line, he was telling Donny Osmond that he is a racist, and that his advice, was for Osmond to be one also, that is the only conclusion I can reach. Baldwin according to Wikipedia, was a strong supporter of the McCain/Palin presidential ticket after Mike Huckabee dropped out of the 2008 presidential race. "That same year, Baldwin threatened to move to Canada if Barack Obama was elected, and challenged the candidate to box for charity. His older brother, Alec, had made a similar declaration that he would move to France if George W. Bush won the 2000 election. Like his brother, Stephen has not left the country." The best thing about this, is that I still have the tape. I figured then as I reason now, that it has a purpose in this world. ==================================== Tim King is a former U.S. Marine with twenty years of experience on the west coast as a television news producer, photojournalist, reporter and assignment editor. But ALL Mexicans and Blacks aren't racist. I love my brothers and sisters of every color, never killed anyone and never will. I also don't support anyone who does. I'm tired of Black Panthers and White Supremacists. ALL of you can go straight to hell! You're trash and the rest of us normal racially harmonious people DON'T WANT you hear. May the good Lord slay you all. RACIST TRASH!!!

Jimmy Marr is 100% correct. Too bad no one here has dealt with his facts. Not even by the cowardly way of just saying he is wrong and a racist. We allow blacks, Mexicans ("Kill the Anglo!") and others to be racists, but never WHITES!

"O Mankind, We created you from a single pair of a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other (not that you may despise each other) Verily the most honourable of you in the sight of Allah is he or she who is most righteous and pious. And Allah is all-knowing, all-aware."

Everyone says there is a race problem. Everyone says this race problem will be solved when the third world pours into every White country, and only White countries. The Netherlands and Belgium are as crowded as Japan and Taiwan, but no one says the race problem will be solved when Japan or Taiwan brings in millions of third- worlders, and "assimilates" with them. Everyone says the final solution to the race problem will be brought about when every White country and only White countries bring in and "assimilate", (i.e. intermarry), with all these non-Whites. If I was to suggest that the race problem should be solved by flooding every African country, and only African countries, with non-Africans, how long would it take for anyone to realize that I wasn't talking about solving any race problem. I'd be talking about the final solution to the Black problem. What kind of sane Black man wouldn't notice this? And, what kind of psycho Black man wouldn't object to this? But if I tell this same, obvious truth about the ongoing program of genocide against my race, the White race, liberals and respectable conservatives alike, will agree that I'm a Nazi who wants to kill six million Jews. They say they are anti-rascist. What they are is anti-White. It's genocide masquerading as political correctness, and Salem-News.com reeks of it.

It really amazes me that Stephen would make a comment like this, especially with his whole take on being a Christian. Hopefully it was the alcohol. Whatever the case, the remark was tasteless and offensive. I don't think some of the actors he played with on Young Riders would have appreciated it.
Marianne Meyers May 22, 2010 6:11 pm (Pacific time)
I am really amazed that Stephen Baldwin would make a comments like this in lieu of the fact he is such a professed Christian. Hopefully it was the alcohol. Whatever the case, the remark was tasteless and offensive. Some of his costars on Young Riders would definitely not appreciated his comment.

GP: What makes you think that Tim King doesn't have an "invisible friend"?
gp May 22, 2010 12:16 pm (Pacific time)
Hey Tim, I didn't notice that he was one of the boogie men of the religious right, did you mention it in the article? I cruised through it and didn't see it anywhere. I don't watch tv and try to ignore the religious folks of all persuasions. I don't have any invisible friends like they do.
Tim King: Yes, a spokesman for their movement, otherwise this would be insignificant. In fact that is why its been sitting around all these years. Someday I might air it, people would be pretty grossed out!
Hank Ruark May 21, 2010 4:10 pm (Pacific time)
To all: Tim's report carries out real responsibilities of any open, honest, democratic and pragmatic channel these days. Racism is myth generated to provide powerful tool for the control and suppression of human rights in direct strong defiance of American values, for which we fought bloody Civil War. It is totally on nose of news, with Texas, and some six other states recently, all seeking to subvert what is taught in our schools simply to avoid recognition it is still actively promoted by the minority who are psychological vitims of more than 100 years of concentrated propaganda. We should be glad to see any and all such reports based on actual realities, happening right before our eyes: See the now-notorious appearances of Rand Paul recently, for proof of immediate impact now. Every truly responsible American has Constitutional duty to deny and oppose any occurrence encountered, in any situation, at any time and place. How else defend our liberty and Constitution ??
gp May 21, 2010 12:56 pm (Pacific time)
What is the purpose of this article? Gossip?
Tim King: He's a spokesman for the Christian right. I expose racism.
Natalie May 21, 2010 2:56 am (Pacific time)
Hey, easy on your turns. I was referring to the black-and-white pic. Weren't they popular BEFORE 1990's?
Tim King: Ah! I knew that was coming... (LOL)
Natalie May 21, 2010 1:00 am (Pacific time)
May I ask what century.. umm.. I mean what year was that?
Tim King: Natalie, this would have probably been late in the 20th Century, around 1999 or so, but it could have been in the 21st Century, might have actually been 2000, silly girl!
But really, don't be fooled by crosses... that would also be my advice to Mr. Osmond.
Scott Truth May 20, 2010 11:02 pm (Pacific time)
Scott, I am not going to publish that comment, but seriously, can you figure out that maybe I have a plan? There are many groups with racial issues and your erased comment could certainly more than point to hipocrasy on my part, I give you that. But again, I have a whole bunch of long ranging plans and not one of them is negative to anyone. I will associate with certain people of various political affiliations, if you will, and hopefully my association with them will mellow out negative views over time, and I believe it is already taking place. You can always write to me via email, and if you saw it through my eyes, you would probably not see it that differently. Besides, you know our position on all of this.
Daniel May 20, 2010 9:55 pm (Pacific time)
Tim I have to add Stephen in the photo looks like he is ready to spit drunken vomit all over his fish . So much for being the talentless little brother .
Daniel May 20, 2010 9:49 pm (Pacific time)
Tim this little weasel is also against marijuana legalization !
Scott Blanford May 20, 2010 8:38 pm (Pacific time)
Are you KIDDING me? You are a FLAT OUT IDIOT to right this piece on Baldwin....he was goofing around, making a dumb comment that his pasty white skin couldn't play hoops. You are SUCH A FOOL to post this. Do you know him? He's one of the coolest, most gentle cats I know. GET A LIFE BROTHER...write something that really makes a GOOD impact on the world!
Tim King: Scott, I appreciate that this is your friend and I do hope there is another, better side of him. I can just tell you that I have been in news for a long time and this is the only time I ever had anyone actually completely interrupt an interview like that. He knew I was rolling, he knew... So let's hope you are right, I just get really negative impressions from Stephen's politics and I have always been bothered by this. So, glad I'm here to be an idiot and a brother to you and all... but my mom didn't raise a fool, or a tool. So are you a write winger too?
