Tigard Police Investigating Early Morning Shooting

Police say they are still gathering evidence and witness accounts.

(TIGARD) - Tigard Police are presently investigating a reported shooting which occurred early this morning at The Birches Apartments located 11495 SW Greenburg Rd in Tigard.

Witness statements indicate at about 1:10 a.m. while inside an apartment unit, a male in his 20s was shot.

The victim was transported to OHSU with what appears serious injuries however non-life threatening. Information obtained by investigators appear to indicate that both the victim and suspect were known to each other.

No other injuries were reported.

Police are still gathering evidence and witness accounts.
