New Orleans' Shooting 19 Wounded Including 2 Kids at Mother's Day Parade

Nine people were taken to the area's University Hospital, eight of them having sustained gunshot wounds, according to WWLTV. Three are said to be critical condition.

(NEW ORLEANS) - At least 17 people were reportedly wounded during a Mother's Day parade in New Orleans on Sunday. Among the victims was reportedly a 10-year-old girl who was grazed by one of the bullets.

While [New Orleans Police Department Superintendant Ron] Serpas said there were about 300 to 400 people in the Mother's Day parade, there were about 200 people in the area of the shooting.

He said that about 10 NOPD officers were spread out throughout the second line and that three people were seen running from the shooting scene. Serpas said that the three suspects likely worked together and that at least two different weapons were used.

One of the suspects is described as a man between 18 years old and 22 years old with short hair and a white shirt with blue jeans, Serpas said.

My prayers to the families and for speedy recoveries for the injured.. But I have to say, right after rumsfeld said 2.3 trillion was missing from the pentagon, was 911...right after the congresional indictment of bush/clinton/obama for war crimes was the boston bombing, and now, right after the bengazi event where clinton/obama ordered a standdown, and the IRS is harassing people for their beliefs, we have another shooting. I actually have about 10 more of these. I wonder if the politicians would quit their atrocities, then the shootings would stop? And watch, the 2nd ammendment will be critized, which really doesnt matter because obama coordinated DHS bought 2 billion rounds, threatening ammo manufacturers and obama making imports of ammo illegal. While at the same time sending ammo and rifles to mexican drug cartels (fast and furious).. What the heck is happening to this country? Reading our emails and listening to phone calls without warrant. The west aiding alCIAda supporters in Syria while TSA sticks their hands down our pants because of alCiada. Invade Iraq and now its a mess in civil war, same with Libya and now Syria..all in the name of "humanitarian" reasons?? Dear Lord, I feel like I am living in the twilight zone. My apologies for using this situation to get on my soapbox, but if we dont start looking around in regards to what the truth is, and what is really going on, more of this will happen, and I am trying to prevent that.
