Portland Police Arrest Two Subjects for the Murder of Shiloh Hampton

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - On Thursday May 12, 2011 Portland Police Bureau Homicide Detectives arrested two suspects and served several search warrants in connection with the homicide of Shiloh Hampton.

20-year-old Jimmie Ray Sanders-Garcia was arrested for Murder, Attempted Murder and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. 21-year-old Edward Mohr was also arrested for Murder, Attempted Murder and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

Both were booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center in Downtown Portland. Their photos are available at www.mcso.us

Well over 100 officers worked tirelessly in this investigation. Every day since the shooting, the Detective Division, the Drugs and Vice Division, the Gang Enforcement Team, the officers of North Precinct, and the US Marshals Service Oregon Fugitive Task Force have all worked together on this investigation.

Thursday's search warrants were served by the Portland Police Bureau's Special Emergency Reaction Team, the Washington County Sheriff's Office Tactical Negotiations Team and the Gresham Police Departments Special Emergency Response Team.

Additionally a white 1989 Mercedes has been located and seized as evidence in the investigation.

The investigation is continuing and more information will be released as it becomes available.
