My Country ‘tis of WE.
Once land of slavery, for thee I sing;
Land where slave mothers died,
Still racist thoughts divide,
From every mountainside let thy hist’ry ring!

My native country,
Where all men should be free, despite their skin;
All love thy hills and dales,
Thy mounts and pleasant vales;
But cent’ries of negro sales, were thy foulest sin.

The wailings swelled the breeze,
And rang from many trees, of black men wronged;
Let every tongue awake;
Let poor and free partake;
Let song the silence break, censorship goes on.

All Gods' people WE,
Justice & Liberty, for this we sing;
Soon may our land find light,
With holy freedom’s right,
Protect us by thy might, Not Guns, Not Kings.

It comes, the joyful day,
When men will stand and say, “Not one more grave!”,
Wars to the ground be hurl’d,
And Freedom’s flag, unfurl’d,
Shall wave throughout the world, no one a slave.

Triumph! Oh jubilee!
Echo o’er land and sea, “Freedom for all!”;
Let the glad tidings fly,
And every child reply,
“Glory to Peace on high!”, shall be their call.
