Here's the latest edition in Salem's original cartoon series, found only on Salem-News.com.

(Salem) - If I write something about what a crime torture is, I get all sorts of people who can tell me why they believe torture is a reasonable thing.

If I write words about how Ron Paul is a great archeologist and the discoverer of the lost city of Atlantis at the bottom of Lake Michigan (soon to be revealed in its full splendor as global warming turns the once great lake into a mud flat), I hear the cry of "Foul!"

But if I put what I've got to say inside the pages of a comic, I don't hear a word from anyone.

That either means we are all in agreement with one another or no one who reads my strip has much to say.

Or it might be that no one is reading my comic. It probably means that the trolls are using text-only searches.

So if I want to I can call them all fat fools inside the comic, and they won't object.

Sounds like fun to me.
